Brew Ratio & Batch Calculator
Enter a recipe or package amount per cup to scale powder and liquid for a batch. The tool calculates your inputs; it does not prescribe a ratio.
Scale your own mix
Use the amounts from your recipe or package.
Enter a positive amount up to 10,000 g, with up to 3 decimal places.
Enter a positive amount up to 10,000 mL, with up to 3 decimal places.
Choose a whole number from 1 to 100. The starting value of 1 is only a count, not a serving recommendation.
Batch amounts
Enter a valid powder amount, liquid amount, and cup count to see the scaled batch totals. Check any highlighted entries above.
Worked example
- Enter 6 g of powder and 200 mL of liquid per cup.
- Set the number of cups to 3.
- Check the two batch totals and the powder-to-liquid ratio.
Expected result: 18 g of powder, 600 mL of liquid, and an entered ratio of 3 g per 100 mL.
These starting amounts demonstrate arithmetic only; they are not a tested recipe or serving recommendation. Results use up to 3 decimal places; positive amounts below 0.001 are shown as < 0.001.
This tool only multiplies the amounts you enter and calculates their ratio. It does not choose a recipe, recommend a serving size, or verify package directions. Enter powder by mass and liquid by volume; spoon sizes and powder density can vary.
Scale the amounts you already use
Enter the powder mass and liquid volume for one cup, then choose how many cups you want to prepare. The calculator multiplies each per-cup amount by the cup count. The ratio is shown as grams of powder per 100 milliliters of liquid so that the relationship between your two entered amounts is easy to read.
Use the package directions or a recipe you trust for the starting amounts. This page does not rank recipes, set a standard cup size, or convert scoops into grams because scoop volume and powder density can differ.
