Differences compare the numbers you entered per labeled serving. If serving sizes differ, the figures are not directly equivalent; this tool does not normalize amounts or rank products.

Differences are rounded to up to 3 decimal places. A positive difference below 0.001 is shown as < 0.001.

    Worked example

    1. Use a 6 g serving for both illustrative labels.
    2. Enter caffeine of 50 and 90 mg, fiber of 2 and 2 g, and sugars of 0 and 1 g.
    3. Read each absolute difference; leave ingredients or allergen details blank if you have not entered them.

Expected result: 40 mg caffeine difference, 0 g fiber difference, and 1 g sugars difference per labeled serving.

These sample values demonstrate arithmetic; they do not describe two real products or recommend a choice. Clear labels removes the sample entries.

Your entries are used only in this page while it is open. The comparison does not verify a package, test a product, assess health effects, or recommend a choice.

How to make a fair label comparison

Start with the exact products and package versions in front of you. Nutrition values are presented per serving, so note the serving size and its unit for each label. A tablespoon, scoop, and gram amount may not represent the same quantity. The tool shows the numbers as entered and does not convert between unequal serving sizes.

Ingredient lists answer a different question from nutrition panels. They can show which ingredients are named, but a list alone does not reveal the amount of every ingredient in a blend or prove a health effect. Copy punctuation and blend wording carefully, especially when a manufacturer lists a combined amount without a breakdown.

Labels may change, and package photos or product descriptions can be out of date. If a number or allergen statement is important to you, check the physical package and ask the manufacturer for clarification. This comparison is a personal note-taking aid, not a laboratory test, medical assessment, or product ranking.
