Caffeine Intake Calculator
Estimate a range from selected drinks using roast-specific RYZE statements and FDA beverage values.
Estimate Your Daily Caffeine
RYZE Medium Roast
Approx. 50 mg per serving (manufacturer label)
RYZE Dark Roast
Approx. 90 mg per serving (manufacturer label)
Brewed coffee
Approx. 113–247 mg per typical 12 fl oz drink (FDA range)
Black tea
Approx. 71 mg per typical 12 fl oz drink (FDA)
50 mg
At or below the FDA's 400 mg reference amount
General context for most adults; not a personal target or safety guarantee.
Values are approximate. FDA brewed-coffee values are a broad 12-ounce range; RYZE figures are manufacturer statements per product serving. Check product labels and include other caffeine sources.
Worked example
- Set RYZE Medium Roast and RYZE Dark Roast to 1 serving each.
- Set brewed coffee and black tea to 1 drink each; these two inputs use 12 fl oz drinks.
- Read the low and high totals and the general 400 mg reference message.
Expected result: 324–458 mg in total. The range may exceed the 400 mg general reference because its high end is above that amount.
This is an addition example, not a suggested daily drink plan or a personal safety assessment. Other caffeine sources are not included unless they are represented by these inputs.
How the Estimate Works
The tool multiplies drink counts by about 50 mg for RYZE Medium Roast, about 90 mg for RYZE Dark Roast, 113–247 mg for a typical 12-ounce brewed coffee, and 71 mg for a typical 12-ounce black tea, then adds the low and high ends separately. RYZE figures are manufacturer label statements; FDA drink values are broad estimates, and real products vary.
Understanding the 400 mg Reference
The FDA says that 400 mg a day is an amount not generally associated with negative effects for most adults. That statement is general context; it is not a personal limit, a recommended target, or a promise of safety. Caffeine effects vary. Pregnancy, health conditions, medications, and sensitivity can change what advice is appropriate for an individual.
